Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll bring skill, attention to detail, and a helpful spirit to everything you do. You’ll support the Mercer, Mahoning, and Trumbull Centers while maintaining facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for seniors and staff. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and supporting others in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.
Hourly Wage:
$21.50 /hr.
Schedule:
First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain the facility, grounds, and equipment safely and efficiently
Perform repairs and upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks
Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all times
Clean and maintain common areas, windows, lights, and exterior spaces
Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or hazards promptly
Assist with heating, cooling, and other systems as needed
Replenish maintenance supplies and follow established schedules
Work collaboratively with staff, participants, and supervisors, offering support when needed
Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
Other duties as assigned

CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire — we’ll provide the training!)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
General maintenance experience required
One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population preferred — or willingness to complete company-paid training
Valid driver’s license
Requirements:
Requires valid State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB Screening
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move, lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly
Must be able to assist with Participant evacuations when necessary
May work in a variety of areas, including outdoors and high places
