Personal Care Aide (PCA) Full Time, First Shift

Job Summary:

As a Personal Care Aide, you’ll bring kindness, patience, and consistency to every interaction. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, and support to seniors — helping them live safely and comfortably, whether in our center or in their homes.

This position is ideal for someone who is caring, dependable, and enjoys meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be part of a supportive care team in a calm, people-centered environment where collaboration, compassion, and growth come first.

Hourly Wage:

$15.50 /hr. to start – $16.50 /hr. after 90 days

$1,000 sign on bonus

Schedule:

First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, supervision, and companionship to seniors
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and transfers
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed
  • Travel to participants’ homes and accompany them to appointments when required
  • Observe and report any changes in participant condition to the care team
  • Document care and services accurately in Alaya Care
  • Participate in team discussions and quality improvement initiatives
  • Build rapport and trust through kindness, empathy, and respectful communication

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Able to follow established routines while using good judgment in daily care
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire — we’ll provide the training!)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus — but not required. We’ll provide hands-on training and mentoring to help you grow!

Requirements:

  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, and TB screening

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Must be able to assist with participant evacuations when necessary
  • May encounter environmental challenges in participant homes — proper protocols must be followed
